Hold your event at Inspirit Common!

Many find the space at Inspirit Common pleasant to spend time in. It is inviting, healing, and comforting. Our rooms are available to rent for your private event. We are well suited to handle one-on-one sessions, small groups, and seatings of up to 60 people.

Inspirit Common has already hosted a variety of the following types of public and private events and are open to hosting:

• birthdays, anniversaries and other rites of passage
• one-to-one, family and group healing or support sessions
• common interest groups like book clubs or freecycler swap meets
• coven meetings, group rituals, meditation groups
• workshops, seminars and intensives
• retreats, circles, or lodges
• private meetings

We have two rooms available. The Spiral Room works well for private appointments up to seating 20 people. The room can be fitted with a massage table, Svaroopa® blankets, folding table, Backjack chairs, or folding chairs. A CD player, bathroom, shower, water dispenser, small refrigerator, and work sink are available.

The Yoga Room is our large event space. Filled with blanket tuffets, Backjack chairs, and folding chairs, it can seat up to 60 participants. The floor is a comfortable carpet. Six-foot tables, a card table, and bathroom facilities are available. A hot/cold water dispenser is available.

Both rooms are climate controlled (though a full yoga room on a hot day can get fairly warm). Each space has a dedicated access, so events can occur outside of Inspirit Common store hours. Unfortunately, this is an older building and no wheelchair access is available. However, the yoga space has only one step up to enter.

We have two rentals. The first is for a one-time, or short-time event. The second is for events which will occur regularly. If your schedule is different or you have special considerations, please email Bucky Sparkle or call 413.585.1169.

Marketing your event

We provide no marketing or special support with the above fees. A marketing package can be purchased separately. $33 for a web page, an additional $6 to be included in our monthly email and flyer for one month.

The details

A refundable deposit is required to secure the booking time as well as serve as security against any damage that may occur during or as a result of room occupancy. This amount is 25% of the rental fee, or the first hour's rental at a minimum. The deposit will be returned after the room is inspected and found to be in good order. The deposit is in addition to the rental fee.

In case you cancel your event, your deposit will be refunded in full if at least 33 days notice is given. If less than 33 days notice is given, half of your deposit will be refunded. If less than 3 days notice is given, no deposit will be refunded.

We ask you leave the room as you found it. Vacuuming of room is required if shoes are allowed into the room or food, flowers, or similar items are brought into rooms.  We will provide vacuum.

As a Participant, you will be included in our regular marketing, have a web page created for you, receive special support, and never have to pay rent!
