Dan Kendall has been a practitioner of Hanmi Buddhism for 8 years.  He spent 2 years living, traveling, and serving as an attendant to his Guru, Living Buddha Dechan Jueren, while training to become a Dharma teacher.  Dan then served as the Vice Abbot of the Los Angeles Dari Rulai Temple for one year.  He founded the Las Vegas Dari Rulai Five Buddha Shrine, and presided as Abbot for one year.  He is currently the Abbot the L.A. Dari Rulai Temple.
