About Maura

Maura is an Acutonics Practitioner, she currently is operating her own business of helping others heal using a number of modalities she has studied for over 15 years. Through the years she has studied Astrology, Energy Medicine, Tarot, Shamanism, Crystal Therapy, and has become a Reiki Practitioner, Acutonics Practitioner, Astrology Professional, Reverend, Spiritual Guide and Teacher. She combines all of these studies in a session with you to fully maximize the healing process.

She lives in Sturbridge, MA with her 16 ½ year old son, 2 beautiful cats and her 4 year old German Sheppard named Rex. She grew up in Watertown MA and moved to Colorado for over 12 years where she did most of her studying. She moved back home to the Western part of the state to be close to family, nature and the country.

You can often find Maura when not in a session, walking her dog in the woods, sitting by a quite river or reading a book. Her studies through the years have developed into a unique approach to an ancient form of healing. Her services can provide benefit for all aspects of your life, whether it’s Mind, Body, or Spirit.

She currently practices in a variety of other places to serve a larger community of people for people that live more east she is at Some Enchanted Evening in Spencer MA, for the western part of the state you can receive a treatment or astrology reading at Inspirit Common in Hadley MA, she teaches not only at home in Sturbridge but at Bay Path Adult Education in Charlton, Top Floor Learning Center in Palmer, and will begin teaching at The University of Metaphysical Studies in September located in Spencer MA.

Astrology readings can be done in person or over the phone; a reading typically consists of one hour of a detailed interpretation of your birth chart. The interpretation will cover a wide variety of characteristics that you may or not be aware of in your self and in your relationships with others. We will spend time looking at the planets and their placements and how you have either been using them to their fullest potential or how they have been using you. In doing this one can become aware patterns that have been in place in their lives that are not serving them but also give you ways in which to correct them, or enhance them to bring more fullness into your life and into your relationships with others.

We will look at the areas of focus where you have planets in the houses, when I see planets in the houses it indicates what tools you have to work with in that area of your life and I will help you understand how to utilize them to their fullest and best expression. Along with the detailed interpretation you will receive an emailed report along a copy of your birth chart for your records. If you choose to have a transit report as well this will run over the hour into an hour and a half and will include a deeper understanding of how the planets in the sky today are impacting you now in your day to day life.

The planets truly are our guides to our fullest expression of ourselves. Beginning to understand your birth chart and how your transits are working in your chart today will help you to live to your fullest expression of who you were born to be and how best you can relate with others.

Astrology Readings can be done over the phone or in person. Recordings are available upon request for an additional $3.00. A 30 minute Astrology reading will be done over the phone and will cost $30.00, if it is your first reading it is recommended that you begin with a one hour session. A birth chart provides a wealth of information that thirty minutes is just too short of a time to cover all the important aspects in full detailed description. Follow up readings or just a transit report for maintenance is recommended and can really provide a relief when things in life seem to be out of control.
